Tonality receives TOP 100 seal

Excellent innovation work: Tonality GmbH from Weroth (Westerwald) has convinced in the 29th round of the competition “TOP 100” as a think tank. The manufacturer of ceramic elements for façade design and interior finishing has been awarded the coveted TOP 100 seal 2022.

In the “TOP 100” competition, Tonality successfully passed a scientific selection procedure. Under the direction of innovation researcher Prof. Dr. Nikolaus Franke, it was examined whether the innovations are just a random product or are systematically planned and thus repeatable in the future. The company, based in the Westerwald, has made a name for itself particularly in the field of ventilated ceramic facades. Made from high-quality clays, pressed under very high pressure and gently dried, Tonality’s high-end ceramics are waterproof as well as colour-, UV- and age-resistant and highly resistant to environmental influences such as acid rain or industrial exhaust air. In addition, the elements can be easily dismantled and reused. “We are proud to be one of the most innovative companies in Germany. For us, the TOP 100 seal is confirmation of the path we have successfully taken for decades. And of course it is also an award for our ambition to always develop and establish new innovative and sustainable solutions for the construction industry,” explains Thomas Bader, Managing Director of the Leipfinger-Bader group of companies, to which Tonality belongs. An additional special feature for the TOP 100 SMEs: they will be personally honoured for their achievements by Ranga Yogeshwar, science journalist and mentor of the innovation competition for eleven years.
