A while ago, our colleague and Export Sales Manager Patrick Beul was a participant at the Ettersburg Talks. The event, organized by the Bundesstiftung Baukultur, once again convinced as an excellent and curated event with exciting discussions around the German building scene.
As an anticipated, condensed result, from the participants’ point of view, the future will have to be about “…establishing a proper circular economy, reducing land consumption, optimizing and intelligently reusing buildings, public spaces and infrastructures, and leveraging economic, ecological and design potential, while strengthening social solidarity through a fair balance.
This requires technical renewal, cross-sector cooperation, far-sighted building ownership and a high level of site- and object-specific building culture. But above all, it needs people and companies with foresight.” – Patrick Beul reports from the event.
As a manufacturer of high-quality terracotta facades, we fully support these goals and, together with our parent company, LEIPFINGER-BADER, we are already offering implementations for a functioning circular economy.
