Clear façade structure
Insurance company Velliv’s new office building in Ballerup, Denmark, is characterised by a sophisticated design strategy. The extension expands the headquarters to a total of 12,000 square metres and contains workspaces and common areas such as meeting rooms and lounge spaces, among other things. Designed as a seamless extension to the existing office building, the new addition maintains the building’s clear façade structure. Square, elongated ceramic elements of the “Square” design in glossy white reflect PLH Architects’ desire for openness and simple design lines. Mounted vertically, the slender elements fully reveal their distinctive flair.
